National nonprofit founded in 2013 by Marjorie Morrison and based in San Diego, built to bridge the civilian-military divide through free education. Maintains a library of more than 200 free online courses covering military culture, trauma-informed care, suicide prevention, caregiving, and financial wellness — developed with veterans, caregivers, clinicians, and subject matter experts rather than about them. Offers the Veteran Ready certification for healthcare providers and organizations, and industry-specific curriculum tracks for healthcare, nonprofits, higher education, and employers. Nearly 200 organizations use the platform to train staff and volunteers, with partners including the Air Force Wounded Warrior Program, American Red Cross, and Amazon. Not a direct-service provider — it improves the competence of everyone else in the ecosystem, which is why it belongs in the navigation layer.
