National nonpartisan 501(c)(3) veterans advocacy organization that amplifies the voices of veterans, their families, and supporters to influence public policy. Its model is built on gathering verified veteran input through large-scale polling, direct outreach, town halls, and media, then translating that input into research and delivering it directly to policymakers who control healthcare, benefits, and quality of life. Founded on the premise that more than 40 percent of veterans are unaffiliated with the VA or any veteran-serving organization and therefore go unheard in policy — the same access gap this map is built to address. Each year it asks its community to name their most pressing concerns and turns those into a formal advocacy agenda; CEO Jim Whaley presented the 2026 priorities — access to quality healthcare inside and outside the VA, support for service-connected conditions, veteran suicide prevention, and housing and homelessness prevention — in testimony before the joint House and Senate Veterans Affairs Committee hearing on March 4, 2026. Reports reaching over 1.3 million veterans and supporters, and has collaborated with America's Warrior Partnership and philanthropic partners including The Marcus Foundation.
